The Comprehensive Launch Audit

Your site went live. This audit checks whether it actually works — around 60 checks on every page, each problem reported with the evidence, what it’s costing you, and step-by-step instructions to fix it in your own website builder.

What gets checked

Every page — not just your homepage. Findings are reported by business impact, most costly first, and anything we can’t verify from outside is labeled honestly as “couldn’t verify,” with a two-minute check you can run yourself.

Get Found

  • Every page’s title — unique, service + location, no typos or cut-off words
  • Every page’s description — present and non-empty (present-but-blank fails)
  • Full-site crawl — broken links, duplicate titles, orphaned pages
  • The page list you hand to Google — your site’s list of pages, the instructions telling Google where it may look, and one clear main version of each page (no duplicates competing with each other)
  • Behind-the-scenes business labels for Google — your name, phone, hours, and service area, written the way Google reads them, so they can appear in search results and maps
  • Connected to Google’s free owner reports (so you can see what people searched to find you) and share tags — the title, description, and picture shown when someone texts or posts your link
  • AI-search readiness — whether AI assistants can find and cite your business

Don’t Lose Inquiries

  • Phone numbers you can tap to call — tapping one on a phone actually dials
  • Contact & booking forms present, labeled, and reachable in two clicks
  • Clear primary call to action above the fold
  • Your email actually landing — the behind-the-scenes email settings (called MX, SPF, and DMARC — you never touch them) that keep your quotes and replies in inboxes, not spam folders
  • Business details consistency — name, address, and phone matching across your site

Look Trustworthy & Load Well

  • How fast your pages load (using Google’s speed test) on your key pages, with the heavy files named
  • The secure padlock — your site’s security certificate is valid and not about to expire, and no page mixes secure and insecure content (that’s what triggers browser warnings)
  • Standard behind-the-scenes browser protections — the usual set, each one explained in plain words
  • Mobile setup — viewport and layout basics on phones
  • The little icon in the browser tab and your share image — the trust details people notice without noticing

Accessibility & Structure Basics

  • A description for every photo — every image counted, every missing description listed (these are what Google and screen readers use to “see” a picture)
  • Exactly one main headline per page, with sub-headings in a logical order Google can follow
  • Your page’s language declared, so screen readers pronounce it correctly
  • Descriptive link text throughout key pages
  • Visitor counting switched on — so you can actually see how many people visit and where they found you

Every finding, the same four parts

No mysterious scores. Every problem in your report is documented the same way, so you can verify it yourself in seconds:

Critical

Your Google description is blank — on every page

Evidence

Every page has a description tag, but it’s empty (content=""). Same for the social-share description.

Why it matters

Google will invent the text shown under your name in search results, and shared links will show no description at all.

Step-by-step fix (written for your builder)

Open the page editor → Page settings → the search-description field → paste the description we drafted for that page → save and republish. Repeat per page; we supply the wording for each one.

Effort

About 10 minutes.

Then: a roadmap, and proof

Priority roadmap

Your findings arrive sorted into a do-first order — the three things quietly costing you customers before the nice-to-haves. Most owners clear the critical list in an afternoon.

One recheck, included

Apply your fixes, then ask for your recheck any time within 30 days. We re-run the full check and send a delta report — fixed, still open, anything new. It’s how the audit proves itself, and it’s the part free tools don’t offer.

Who it’s for

Owners of recently launched small-business websites — local services, shops, professionals, trades. If a builder, a platform template, or a busy nephew “finished” your site and moved on, this is the check that catches what launch day left behind. Works with any platform — Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, GoDaddy, Shopify, and smaller builders too — because every check runs from outside your site. A site that’s been live a while but was never checked benefits just the same.

Honest limits

  • Not a formal accessibility certification. Accessibility basics are checked; the legal-standard certification (called WCAG) is a different, much larger engagement.
  • Not a security audit. We check the standard protections and your secure-padlock setup — we don’t try to break into your site.
  • No ranking guarantees. We fix findability and trust problems; Google’s rankings are Google’s.
  • Some things can’t be verified from outside — like whether your contact form actually delivers. Those are labeled “couldn’t verify” with a quick self-check, never guessed.
